Current cost.

So it's invested in a CurrentCost energy monitor. That's all well and good, but when you're stood in front of it for the majority of your working day, yelling "Fucking look at that! Bastards! Boiling a kettle puts the cost up to £157 a day! Look at....Have you SEEEEN that? Jesus Christ almighty" then, in my eyes at least, somethings not right. It goes beyond monitoring, and becomes control. I now wish It would spend more time in front of the television again.
In the long term it will become the norm to have this installed. But I believe that the balance of power will eventually shift to the energy companies, and the precise accuracy of energy monitoring will enable NPower et al, to adjust their quarterly profits accordingly - You must use at least this much, or you will pay this much....Etc.
