For a while now, I’ve realised that many people in higher education, have got there through somebody else’s nepotism. But, it doesn’t stop there. for the person now in power, she will then proceed to become a meat puppet for the nepotist, engaging in what is known as ‘Astroturfing’. And it saddens me, but makes me happy to know this. To know that the absurd is man-made becomes a relief. Naive? I hope so.
